In the mid 90ʼs, every Wednesday night a different artist came to Limbo Restaurant, situated next door to Artspace on Folsom Street in San Francisco, to cook for their friends and for the regular customers of the restaurant.
Being in a kitchen feels familiar, nurturing, social, reminding us often of our childhood. It can also be full of absolute terror. The artists who participated came from every corner of the world and the food reflected that, yet there were many similarities that seemed to be universal.
